Vishal is President of Soin International, a holding company providing management and financial support to various Soin-owned enterprises. He manages family investments including private equity investments, seed/angel investments, and real-estate investments. Vishal is on the Board of Directors for both CTC Plastics and Corbus, LLC and serves as the Chairman and CEO for CTC Plastics and as the CEO of Corbus, LLC. In addition, he serves on the fund investment board for the Dayton Regional Signature Fund and is a member and serves on the Executive Committee of the Ohio Business Roundtable (OBRT).
In the local community, Vishal recently served as Immediate-past Chair of the Board of Trustees of Dayton Children’s Hospital and is the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Wright State University.
Prior to his current positions, Vishal was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International Consultants, Inc. (ICI), where he successfully led the company from $11M in revenue and diminishing profits to $26M with a healthy bottom-line over a 30 month span. The company was courted by several publicly traded companies and ultimately was aquired by MTC Technologies (MTCT). Vishal then served as a Senior Vice President of Land Forces at MTCT after the acquisition. He was on the Board of Directors for Integrated Information Technology Corporation (IITC) from 1996 to 2004 until its sale to PEC Solutions/Nortel Networks.
Vishal also served as Chief Executive Officer of Wrightpoint Computers, where he expanded the company’s offerings into more profitable lines of business such as network engineering, installation and management services. He coordinated the successful merger of the network services division with Corbus, LLC while overseeing the dissolution of the not profitable hardware businesses.
During his time with Wrightpoint, Vishal also was accepted into and completed the Young Executives Institute (YEI) at the Kenan-Flager School of Business at the University of North Carolina. YEI is an intensive management training course consisting of on-campus studies for one week per month while continuing studies along with maintaining professional responsibilities for the remaining three weeks per month. He completed the YEI program in 1999.
Vishal started his work experience with CTC Plastics, then known at Composite Technologies Corp., after graduating from Purdue University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering degree. At CTC he first worked in process and procedure development then went on to lead the product transitioning team where he facilitated and orchestrated the migration of products from the laboratory through prototype and on to the production floor.
In additional to his professional engagements, Vishal previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Dayton Partnership, and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. He also served on the Board as Secretary of the Asian Indian American Business Group of Dayton (AIABG). He served on the Board of Trustees for the Education and Public Interest (EPI) Foundation, a 501C3 Foundation of the Chamber of Commerce.
In June 2013, Vishal was honored as the recipient of the Ohio Hospital Association 2013 Meritorious Service Award. This award recognizes an individual or group serving as friends of hospitals or health systems and whose support of the health care industry reflects the public interest. Vishal was also a recipient of the prestigious Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award in 1998 and was enshrined in the 40 Under 40 Hall of Fame in 2012. He was recognized by the Dayton Business Journal as one of Dayton’s Top 12 most influential People of 2012. In 2011, he was inducted into Omnicron Delta Kappa [the National Leadership Honor Society].
Vishal lives in the Beavercreek, Ohio with his wife and three children. Vishal enjoys playing golf, flying, off-roading, hunting, and family vacations. He maintains an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and holds multiple jet aircraft type ratings.
